Dear Mentors & Friends,

In November we had so much to be thankful for! We are happily settled into our new location at the offices of James Moore, CPA at 2477 Tim Gamble Place. Thank you to James Moore, our volunteers, donors, staff, and board of directors for supporting us through this transition.

Your support means our holiday season will be a great one!

Respectfully,
Alva Striplin, CEO

Where's a purple bin?

This month we recognize our bin partners at The Red Elephant on Kerry Forest. Red Elephant opened over ten years ago. This family-friendly restaurant serves pizza and then some, offering an array of salads and entrees. Thank you, Red Elephant!

During this time of year we are reaching out with a small but impactful way for you to help us match more children with caring mentors, simply click on the number 15 and sign up to give $15 on the 15th day of each month! Donate Today!

this month's match

Newly matched Little Key’Asia wanted her Big to know that she’s a good student and wanted a Big Sister so that she can “do good”. Key’Asia’s favorite time of day in first grade is music class and wants to be a teacher when she grows up. Big Sister Taylor is currently a Family Child Sciences major with hopes of becoming a pediatric nurse. Taylor coached cheerleading for four years with kids ages 5-11 and looks forward to showing her Little that she cares by being there, listening and offering advice when needed.

We look forward to seeing this match develop a strong bond and friendship throughout the school year!
